They were the deals going on last year, so I don't think they have it on sale anymore. I bought 38 quarts of it

Still have most of it left. I don't shop at Wal-Mart, I just buy all my oil on sale.

I wouls stick with any well known conventional oil and change per manufacturer recommendations. Stay with proper weight as well. Once warranty is up then you could look into going synthetic and extending your intervals a bit. That is kinda my plan with our new camry. Nothing wrong with running synthetic now but I wouldn't extend the intervals while under warranty. Some will say go ahead and do it. I say why take the chance while under warranty. The savings do not out weigh the risks.

Now that is good advice. It would have saved me 30 minutes of cleanup if I'd known about it before I changed the oil on my honda the first time. Since you like Mobil 1 then consider the Mobil 1 oil filter also. Its more expensive than the wix 51356 that I use but its supposedly better too. Ive never seen the stats on the Mobil 1 filter that show exactly how much better it really is but I could find no data showing that the purolator was as good as the wix.

Thanks for the advice. I kinda went crazy stocking up on maintenance stuff for my car, so I already have a few M1-110's. They certainly feel heavy compared to the P1 and WIX.
