Subject: First man escapes N.K. prison camp.
There has been a news clip on TV and it is also on youtube, about an interview with a young man who recently at the age of 23 escaped from a North Korea prison camp that he lived in since his birth. And the story of the thousands of people who live in these prison camps in North Korea is something similar to the way concentration camps were ran during WW2.
It makes you think that this mans story should be brought to the attention of the United Nations. But then what could they do? And the part about the guards at the camps having orders to kill all the prisoners if the government is in danger of collapse makes one think that the only way these poor souls could ever be liberated would be if a top notch military team were to take over those camps all at the same time.
It is amazing that even today places like this exist, and people are being treated like less than animals. And while this man is being introduced to literally a whole world that he had no idea existed, if thousands of people with a background similar to his ever were freed, there would have to be some additional efforts made to educate them to how to live in the society they would be living with.
I do not know how to go about supporting the tens or hundreds of thousands of people who are living in these prisons if you can call them that, but it seams that the more people who know about it the better.
