Fine German engineering here

Reviews on Amazon say the MityVac leaks from the bottom.
Mine has been fine after perhaps 50 uses. The other thing I like is portability; I don't need a compressor.
Beyond oil change services, numerous ATF, PS (suck through return line), Brake Master Cylinder.
Oops. Mine just started leaking under pressure yesterday; it seems to be the lower tube fitting connection. Will check it out later.
Bummer. Fixable? Most likely.

Us? nah. You obviously did not follow that topic.
I will get my 5yrs old to draw something later.
Kind of you to offer.
Meanwhile, Cape Air keeps operating its piston Cessna and Tecnam twins in scheduled service.
You'll see them here and there at large airports, like the two Cape Air Tecnams we saw taxi to a gate at ORD not too long ago.

I know, when you mention commercial aviation, majority of people immediately think of Cessna and Tecnam, not B737.

You mean they don't? Who knew?
To me, in an era when every commercial field in the world is packed full of 737s and single aisle Airbuses, it's nice to see something completely different.

I bought a Bavarian Motorsports 10L extractor from ECS Tuning. Has the manual pump as well as the option to use shop air.

Question - what is the best temperature (range) for extraction? 140 deg F? Don't want to be too hot, to make sure the plastic tube doesn't melt inside the dipstick tube, but also not cold, as it would take much longer to extract.

I have an off-brand oil extractor I bought from Amazon, here are what the directions say:
  • The operating temperature is between 35 ° F and 200 ° F. Cool down the engine at least 15 minutes after driving.
  • If the car has not been used in the past 4 hours, preheat for at least 3 minutes before extraction.

German engineering is a myth 🙄
I've met some older people that claim it's their revenge for the war 🤔
I wouldn't take it that far, but the VW chime gives me PTSD 😲

That's unfortunate to see, I always rated MB higher amongst the German marques
Probably the same engine used in multiple models, not enough money in the budget to redesign the pan for each chassis 😔
