Some of you may remember 5 months ago about me wanting a Fun to Drive DD since I drive 90 miles a day round trip. The main Choices were a 370Z, and Mustang GT as well as a CPO G37 sedan. Went with a 17 Stang. Really like it so far. Only 250 miles at this point. Haven't taken it to 7,000 rpm yet, but there is definitely plenty of power available.

Now dont be one of those mustang guys who shows off then wrecks that are all over youtube..

Nice Car.. wouldnt be my first choice for commuting but definitely a nice car.

Looks nice!
You paid cash right?
Cars are the most expensive thing we buy that goes down in value....
Like 14-18% depreciation per year. Even if you got 0% interest.
90 a day will add up quick.

Not the most practical car for that, but I wanted to enjoy that rd time. It's actually quite civilized for longer drives. Rides pretty good with the IRS. I have a Crew Cab Titan if I need to be practical on different days.

I definitely thought a lot about the depreciation, but decided that after driving a 95 Nissan Pickup as my DD for the last 5 years, I decided it was time to get something enjoyable for all those miles. The 95 pickup actually was super solid, and enjoyable, but not 435 Horsepower enjoyable. My Job gives me a pretty sizable Car Allowance. I could have paid cash, but decided to put 50% down, and keep the rest in the bank. I will close the loan in a year or less.

I may still split some of the daily driving with the 95 Hardbody.

MT I assume?

I actually haven't snapped any engine pics. I will tomorrow.
Yes Manual Transmission, and thanks for the compliments!

I like what Ford did going back to styling ques from the original Mustang. For a few years it looked like some kind of full size whatever car but recent versions are finally good looking.

EXCELLENT call- ignore the hand-wringers who are jealous that you drive a hugely entertaining ride as opposed to a soul-numbing appliance. I've always had fun "impractical" cars for my daily drivers- life is too short to spend it behind the wheel of a deadly dull transportation pod.
Nave fun!

Love the color and wheels.

My old 5.0 Mustang only had 225 horsepower stock, your car almost has twice that.

Thanks! This is actually a Base GT. I didn't want the Performance pack because of the Staggered wheels, and the 3.73 rear gears. I have no plans for track use lol!

Thanks! Life is definitely not slowing down. Trying to get a little more out of all that time on the rd.
