Decided on the Strange Dana 60, The housing finally arrived today after a month of waiting. Really nice piece.....Nodular iron center section & main caps, 3" seamless 1/4" wall axles tubes, & Forged chrome moly ends. Also has a drain plug that I didn't know about. Backlash adjustment are done with screw adjusters like a Ford 9" unlike OEM Dana 60's that uses shims under the carrier bearings. I ran a magnet down both axle tubes & found no metal from machining which is unusual on bare housings! Very impressed.

Aftermarket Dana/Spicer Power Lock 4-pinion posi carrier built with genuine Spicer parts, I have custom ARP bolts on order to replace the "unknown" grade bolts that hold the 2 halves together.....I have seen what happens when Power Lock case bolts shear off (On a '69 Roadrunner w/ 500ci hemi) It ruins everything!
