I haven't purchased from HPL yet. But as soon as I get enough nerve to tell the wife that I want a case of motor oil that's $16 per quart and I plan to keep doing 3k OCIs running it, well that's when it will happen.
I can't lie to her and tell her I need this oil. I really don't need it - nor Amsoil Signature or Schaeffers 900. But maybe I can bribe her and offer her a HPL Sweatshirt, should she not be upset when she gets the bill on the oil's cost, shipped to my door.
Only offering her a HPL sticker to paste on her 2020 Kia Soul X-Line isn't going to cut it. We've been together for almost 51 years and I don't want to use my Hush Money Stash on this purchase and lie to her, that I got this oil free from a friend.
I'll do a few straight face looks in the bathroom mirror first. I need to practice lying to her about needing to use the credit card - (you know Honey).... it;s just a couple hundred dollars on more motor oil Baby...... that's all.
