You may or may not recall the pics of my varnish in my Discovery back when I did my front cover. At the time it was recomended I use chemtool motor flush but I could not find it so I used Gunk instead with ho hum results colorwise. Fast forward to this week I stopped by car quest and found the stuff and decided I wanted to switch over to mobil 1 0w40 and did a flush with a full bottle at idle for 20 minutes. Oil came out black really black. I have another can that I may use on my 2002 corolla that has some varnish. That is after I get the corolla put back together.

Is that the actual name? I could not find it on the web site.
It is product #0116, It says B12 Chemtool on the can and says use it in the gas tank or crank case and gives directions for all the uses. I don't see it on their site.
It is different then the B12 Chemtool you see at walmart that is for the gas tank even though the product # is 0116LA. Not sure the difference or why the similar number.

Interesting. I was thinking of the stuff I use a a fuel system cleaner (like you mention at Wal-Mart).
I have yet to see that in the stores. Maybe I just assumed they were all the same. I'll have to look into that. Thanks.
