So here is what every one has been waiting for, now we don't have to talk about Nuke energy and all the other renewable stuff.

This is the use of "week" atomic energy at its best. Its been tested, peer reviewed etc. Can't poo it any more.

Is this supposed to be some sort of free energy machine? There's clearly an electric motor attached to the main shaft. I suppose they'd claim it's a generator.

An excellent demonstration of what a patent means. It has nothing to do with usefulness nor efficacy nor even adherence to the laws of physics. A patent indicates novelty and nothing else.

We'll add this to the long list of useless devices protected by an equally useless patent. At least he shouldn't have to spend a lot of money in defense.

And "week" atomic energy. That's a good one.

I haven’t bothered to watch. If it is implying a permanent magnet motor, those exist.

OP, you would be well served to synopsize the presentation, not just post a video link.

Just read the comments below the video, for the synopsis.

Perpetual motion exists, it is everywhere. All Atom's are perpetual motion machines of sorts, their electric fields make everything possible, the universe it self is perpetual motion, the sun works by perpetual motion. Why is this so difficult to understand?

I didn't look but just look up the patent and see how it works.

Many things thought not possible are now coming to light.

Perpetual motion is nowhere. What seems to be so difficult to understand is actual atomic structure rather than what’s in a children’s science book.

Neither is the universe. You would do well to brush up on some actual physics.

From what I understand, that dude in the video died in 2018. 8 years later and there's not one in every basement powering every house on the planet, and the video is still up, so no conspiracy there.

You can't change, or argue with the laws of physics. Or capitalism for that matter. If someone actually came up with something that does what he claims, they would either be wiped off the planet conspiracy style, or be unbelievably rich and constantly on the news. But nope, all the crackpots are still out there dreaming big dreams and trying to get people to believe them.

And the law of physics you're arguing with is the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Which if incorrect would be catastrophic and immensely destructive to any universal structure. Without that no physical process would be predictable nor dependable. Entropy must increase for stability to occur, otherwise physical processes could suddenly reverse or otherwise fail. The sun could abruptly start to take in energy instead of producing it. Every physical process in the universe without fail could cease to function and instead reverse any action. It would be an utterly unpredictable and unlivable environment.

This ultimately is the universe that these PM people wish to believe exists. It does not.

The sun isn't perpetual motion. It is constantly breaking down. It's figured to turn into a dwarf star in the next 4.5-5 billion years.

A perpetual motion machine would produce a steady state output of work for an indefinite time with no inputs. If the parts were theoretically perfect, it would never slow down. In a real machine, breakdowns would be OK as long as the repair does not involve refueling or recharging anything.

The Sun and the rest of the universe is not perpetual. It is slowly running down, though at a rate that is insignificant compared to human lifetimes.

Using the forces inside an atom to do external work destroys the atom and reforms it into something else. Ultimately, perhaps after many transformations, those final products have no ability to do net positive external work. (Physicists say "One day, everything will be iron.")
