'94 Taurus 3.0, Purolator Prem Plus, every 3000.
'04 Mazda3 GT, OEM, 5000 miles or 4 months
'72 Plymouth 318 v-8, Purolator, AC Delco or PowerFlo, every other oil change ~ 5-6 mos or 3,000 to 5,000 miles. Been doing it like this since 1961 in my cars, vans, and pickups. Never had a malfunction, failure, or early worn-out attributable to the oil system or any of its components or fluids. Follow owners manual recommendations and you'll be just fine.
I once took my wifes Honda up to 20,000 miles before I changed it (thats with the oversized L24458 Purolator filter.... but its every 15,000 miles for her car. 7500 miles for mine.

Change my oil filter when I change the oil. OCI is 6 months or 7500 miles wich ever comes first!So far I have used Denso filters on my 03 Camry. I normaly buy 6 at a time to get discount. Normaly I use SuperTech/Tech2000 oil filters on everything. Their are only two filters I will not use Peak Hard Driver and Fram. I like Baldwin and Hasting if I am forced to buy something other then Super Tech. Have tried every brand I can think of and none are any better then the rest in my book.
Airfilter I change once a year reguardless of miles. I like my engine breathing free. I use OTC filter and am not to picky about brand I have a Fram airfilter in it right now. I fill not use a oil guaze filter on a daily drive and am not a big fan of foam either.
