Just heard a Purolator Advertisement on the radio this morning saying how much better their filters were because they used metal end caps while other filter brand used cardboard! I guess they are reading the forums!!

yup i heard one today too. not sure how much of an effect it will have on the regular population though.
Heard it as well. Instantly thought of BITOG.
They have a TV commercial as well where the guy takes the cardboard and crushes it in his hand.

Wow, that's pretty convincing.
I also saw a commercial where a guy takes a knife and makes a hole in a tire with it. That tire went flat instantly. That ad convinced me never to use tires, ever again.

Yeah, wait until they find out about the non metalic cartridge filters used in European and Asian engines.
