Not much to see under the hood, but at least there's an oil dipstick...

Sweet car. I like the exterior and the interior is simple and elegant - amazing how a system like the iDrive can clean up the interior design.

With the AWD, she is all set for those nasty Chicago winters.

Congratulations.

Sure looks like a complicated pop up nav system. I see a door sliding back and the screen popping up - a lot to go wrong. My CTS has the pop-up nav but it raises straight up w/o trap doors. But that is a great car and the right color, too. I miss the hood ornament, though!

Thanks all. She's still getting used to it, and missing her old Jetta a bit since that was her first car.

about 12 miles one way, mix of hwy and city driving.

One bad thing about this car is MPG... not so great. I think it'll actually be worse than my 530i in that department.

Not her car, but pretty much identical to this picture. Personally, I'm not too crazy about the silver background of the instrument cluster... looks good at night though...

too flashy for my tastes, but I am sure she'll enjoy it. nice seats!
congrats!

She was supposed to check out an '07 525xi as well, but we never made it to that dealer... we happened to drop by the MB dealer first, and they just wouldn't let us leave... they kept dropping the price until it started to look good.

Personally, I like the exterior look of the current C-Class, including that big star on the front grill, but the interior isn't anything special... I think the current 5-series interior is a bit more classy, but the exterior I still cannot fully digest. The new 5 comes out in a few months... looks a bit better.

My sister has one of these in the 2wd version and hers is not the sport version like this one. Instead of all the silver interior trim, it has the wood trim, plus it has the emblem on the hood. Very nice cars and I would stay with the Mobil 1 0W-40.

I can't see why aluminum trim is marketed as a sports trim. Wood trim would be the nicest to have. After having an aluminum trim for a few years, now I stay away from it and stick to real wood trim, not the plastic imitation (what a horror).

Nice car. She must be doing well for herself to replace an old Jetta with this!

BTW, LOVE the pink bunny in the first pic! LOL!

Yeah, we tend to keep our cars for a while... That Jetta was her first car and she had it for 9 years and decided that she got her money's worth out of it. She plans to keep this C300 for a long time, too.

Some of our neighbors are very external with regards to all the major holidays... ourselves, we're too lazy to do anything apart from x-mas stuff. :)

How many miles on it?

Mind sharing the price?

Looks great! Even if the newer C class is not the best on paper, I find its appearance to be very elegant, classy and distinguished.

huh? not the best on paper? with respect to what?

An MB is a vehicle designed with a different quality set than another competitor. Back in the day Toyota copied MB, Nissan copied BMW. Same difference. Which is better on paper there?
