First, I can't log into Gmail from my main PC (and IE works just fine) so I've had to use FF 4 Beta. Now my laptop upgraded itself and GMail just sits there "loading".

This is a known and reported issue with 3.6.12 and it's really ticking me off. I tried reloading 3.6.11, but no luck.

What a POS.

3.6.12 is causing my machine all kinds of problems as well; mainly slow, choppy performance. I've also read that the G-Mail issue is big with this FF version. It's a buggy release and I hope they fix it soon.

I did find this, and it's helped my machine a little. Reduce the frequency of session restore points.

Never had problem with FF. I am using 3.6.12 without any problems with GMAIL or anything.

I'm using the latest version of FF and under the Task Manager...it's using 70k plus memory, viewing this thread.

Now under Opera? Approx 10k of memory, viewing this same thread.
