You have an SL2, that's mainly why.

Auto-tragic or stick?

My (RIP) SL1 with a 5 speed got 45 MPG easy at 65-70MPH.

Thats about right for an sl2

38.5 summer, 34-35 winter, 95 sW1, 00 sl1.

Managed 46.1 MPG one june on a straight highway run keeping the cruise at 58 MPH, window down two inches, no AC.

1995 SC1 - original owner with 198,000+ miles.

Mixed driving: 35 MPG

It's been awhile since I've taken a long trip, but I've been 40+ with all highway driving.

I have a 99 SL2 with 184,000 and I get about 26 city, a little over 32 highway. You should add in this question how many miles between quarts of oil-if I am lucky, I can go over 600 miles before having to add a quart of oil-if I do a lot of idling, it can be worse (valve seals). At this stage of it's life, it is a commuter car, can park in anywhere in the city and no one pays it any mind at all. Plastic sides mean no dings/dents, therefore it looks pretty nice for a 13 year old car. It still runs great, and has a good heater/ac, comfortable. It has ABS and traction control (actually works), and is really easy to work on.

That sounds about right. I also have a 99 SL2 with an automatic. Getting closer to 35 mpg highway now. That will go down to 32 during A/C season.
