This was many years ago and back then Federated dumped Hastings and went to China.. thus these were discontinued and discounted..that was a twister .

I have many of these and never used them as I cut one early on and didn't like it. That was in the golden Ultra days. Then it was dumb to buy anything but and the price was < $8

These were for my Mitsubishi vehicles which are all gone now.

I would like to see the pleats at 5k or so.

They'll fit Honda and Nissan (cross to 7317 size). Anyone want to try them?

BTW how old is too old, for a filter? I have some 5 y.o. filters lying around but I hesitate to use them.

This is crazy ! I did the same thing when I was looking for an alternative filter. Not enough media with uneven spacing. Cheap two buck jobber filter if I recall.

I didn't put mine on the entry hall floor- I put mine on some old loudspeakers in the guest room, lol.

I like the way the louvers are formed in that cheap filter. Too bad other makers can't do the same.
