I'm particularly interested in low deposit, (ashless) varieties.
I realise that castor and castor blends are probably still king of the hill in terms of protection, but what is considered state of the art in two stroke lubes these days, as it's been a looooong time (nearly two decades
) since I raced karts and used either Castrol TTS and Agip 2T @ 40:1 in Yamaha's and Castrol R30 castor @ 16:1 in Parilla's and PCR's.
Just bought a nice new Dolmar PS6400HS chainsaw, so want to use the best lube I can. I've been using Castrol TTS (old habit) in the old Mac and a mates Stihl 032 while the Mac was out of action as it's available and I get it from an account supplier.
I believe these new saws rev up around the 12-13,000 RPM mark, a bit different to the old days.
Motul, Redline, Silkoene, Mobil, etc is also available locally.
