Hudsonville Vanilla Bean has been my recent favorite. Alas, Hudsonville got smart recently and moved it to their premium Naturals line of products which translates to higher price and smaller container.
What is it with cheap chocolate chunks in ice cream? Give us the guud stuffs.

The Kroger Private Selection Southern Butter Pecan is the best store-brand ice cream I've ever had and I'd prefer it over anything available from an ice cream shoppe here.

Who makes the best ice cream that's ALL 100% natural (milk,cream,eggs,sugar,etc) that has absolutely NO artificial ingredients,(and absolutely NO high fructose corn syrup garbage) and can be found nationwide at the common chain stores?
Any high quality "Pralines N Cream" or "Rum Rasin". Baskin Robbins was always sufficiently delicious. Haagen Dazs does fairly well with both.
We have a local "homemade" type ice cream store. It's fairly good too.
Due to current health issues, I can eat one bite and that's it.

I think Turkey Hill has a "natural" brand thats limited minimal ingredient - I don't think its "the best" but its pretty good.
