Favorite energy drink

OMG, I am reading this thread and wasn't going to comment because I feel it reflects America today in a sad way. 90% or more of these drinks do anything for the human body except to damage it.

So yeah, water counts and the most healthy of all of them.
Fortunately they all taste terrible to me - but so do diet drinks.
I have turned to the mini Coke - one or none per day …

except to damage it.
There was a time when youngsters would be hired by advertisers to stroll the streets of Manhattan handing out 5-packs of cigarettes, automotive brochures and laundry detergent samples.
Once, two girls with large insulated, cylindrical backpacks made to look like a BRAND NEW PRODUCT came down the street. It was Red Bull.
They explained what the stuff was and told me "It tastes terrible".
Honest girls they were.

Corporate marketing has got them for HUGE, huge products on something that they do not need and once started, their brain addicted to these corporate formulas.

And yet a guy or gal has a energy drink occasionally is just one tiny tiny aspect of how he conducts his overall life and lifestyle.

Coffee.

Early in my I/T days, Jolt Cola came out and it was stocked in the company cafeteria. I had it a couple of times but it didn't seem like it did anything for me.

So a sugar free 200mg caffeine drink is bad but folks who drink a ton of coffee is no issue?

Slightly home decaffeinated black tea (Loose leaf Assam) in the Morning.
Any more than that my heart becomes a Mexican Jumping Bean.
Boing! Boing!

I used to like the White Monsters, they are ok still. I prefer the non carbonated Monster Rehab or the Monster Coffee ones. I'm not a big soda drinker so the carbonation just bloats me at work on the carbonated energy choices. The Monster Pacific Punch I like for flavor.

The taste of the regular green monster and red bull I don't like. I'll happily have a cup of coffee instead of them.

BANG if you really need that extra jolt.

Coffee and pre workout. I dislike the taste of energy drinks and do not give me energy.

Redbull seasonal varieties sometimes come out with one I like. I think there's a orange pineapple one out right now I like.

True it really mostly at that point depends on which sugar substitute many are not good at all

Coffee for most people is a very healthy beverage but of course ODing on caffeine itself isn’t going to good no matter what form

Sugar free Monster, but rarely because I'm generally a cheapskate (with exceptions of course).
