poorboy's polishes and their carnuba wax.
did my black ss back in april and it still beads and washes to a showroom shine. Also using the poorboy's car wash soap. Very good bang for the buck, especially their SSR1, 2, 2.5 polishes!

If I didn't have a cabinet full of ****, I'd buy the poorboy's EX sealant and see how that compares to the regular carnuba. But their carnuba is easy, shines great with depth and it lasts. With all the talk at autopia how "wax" melts off in summer sun and doesn't last, that's a lot of hype and exaggeration. I've been parking mine outside 5 days a week at work, catching incinerator fallout from across the harbor on top of the sun.

Also have klasse sealant glaze, tried it on the ss hood but it streaked and wasn't to crazy about it. Probably applied it too thick. But I have an 05 altima on the way that I think I'll try it on.

IBIZ has a liquid wax and a waterless touchup that shines well, but doesn't last as long as the poorboys carnuba has.

Armor-All Low Shine for the dash and other plastic. It'd be nice to find 303 locally...

UPDATE: purchased a gallon of 303 a couple of weeks ago- IMO, even though I'm a newbie with the stuff, nothing even comes close to it! It's 303 from now on for the critical stuff- I'll burn up the Armor-All and 2001 on my sidewalls, Hot Wheels track, etc.

I tried 303 on my very-oxidized dashpad in my '77 Chev 454 pickup today just for kicks; no kidding- it really looks like new!

Y'all was right on 'bout 303.

The professional deatilers have taken a liking to Costco's Kirland brand all purpose cleaner. (ie for carpets, wheel wells, engines, etc).

I tried it and it works great. (far superior to Simple Green IMHO).

You get a gallon of concentrate bundled with a sprayer for about $7.

I highly recommend it as an addition to your other detailing products.

I can now understand why. I washed/clayed/waxed the outside and cleaned the interior of my '95 Civic today; had two long-standing stains in the passenger seat of unknown origin. Sprayed some of the above-mentioned product on it and sponged/microfibered the areas.

I'm gonna check it tomorrow a bit closer but I don't see any stains there! It is almost unbelievable!

I have been wanting to try this. Our all around cleaner has been Gliptone Redstuff and it has been golden. The stronger degreaser we use is Gliptone Emerald Clean and both are far superior to Simple Green.

In my limited experience with the polymer-type sealants (I've only used Liquid Glass many moons ago, and now the Klasse "twins" (AIO & SG)), the Klasse sealant glaze does seem to be a bit difficult to work with. I've had streaking issues with it as well, and I think you're right about it being due to using too much product. Thankfully I was able to eliminate the streaks by spraying with a quick detailer and then wiping with a micro fiber towel.

I rec'd a 4oz. sample of Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection (UPP) from PakShak with my last order. Never heard of it before, but based on some posts I dug up on it over at Autopia it sounds really easy to work with and is supposed to provide a very nice shine. I'll give it a try in the Spring instead of the Klasse SG (I'll clay-bar and then apply Klasse AIO first, as usual). I've also heard some good things about the Poorboy's EX and EX-P sealants. But I've got enough Klasse to last me a lifetime.
