Favorite Beer/Alcohol ???

Yuengling, Corona, Molson, Labatts Blue or Labbats Light are my favorites - depending on which part of the country or hemisphere I'm in. For example! If I'm in Chicago, I'll drink Old Style on tap-only. If I'm near Seattle, I'll ask for an Oly (Olympia) on-tap. Both of these are fine if found fresh/young.

Moosehead Pale Ale ...

Genesee Cream Ale- Anyone remember this one?

I don't really drink but I remember Corona, Moosehead, Killians Red. Drambuie is my favorite hard liquor.

Tecate
Bud Light
Coors Light
Heinekin

...in varying amounts were consumed yesterday by myself. My [limited] memory, was that I liked the Bud the least.

If I just buy a twelve pack to have in the fridge, I prefer St. Pauly Girl or Widmer Heifewizen.

Wanna get your pre-party on to save some $$ before heading to the bars/clubs...mix some strong drinks at home. My favs: Captain and Coke and Red Bull/Monster/Rockstar and Vodka - depends if you need the energy kick or not.

Enjoy your 21st - always have a DD or taxi ride home if its too far to walk. Fortunately/unfortunately I live walking distance to downtown and it's plethora of bars and clubs.

My favorite is Rolling Rock - here in the northwest we have plenty of micro brews, but I can't say I enjoy spending the same amount for a 6 pack of microbrew when I can get a 12 pack of bud for the same price or cheaper. MGD is a close second. Busch is the cheapo choice, I think I'm going to give Tecate a try.

Coors light is good, although in Canada it's brewed by Molson. I don't really have a favorite but here's a few I like:

- Newcastle brown ale

- Sleeman's original dark is quite good

- Holsten's Festbock dark is decent.

- Alberta's Big Rock brewery makes a nice wheat ale.

And I used to drink a local Okanagan Springs Porter @ 8.5%. That's a meaty beer.

I second the Newcastle Brown, even better if you're drinking with a bunch of Geordies, though you probably won't understand anything they're saying.
Bud, Miller, etc. are like making love in a canoe.

Eh...tried a lot but for whatever reason or another, I really enjoy a Miller High Life. Cheap and good IMHO.

Otherwise I loved Labatt's Canadian Ale. But I couldn't seem to find it the last time I took a trip to Michigan.

I went to the Guinness brewery in Dublin a few years back. It was a religious experience! I looked over Dublin from the top of the old brewery/museum and drank a pint (or 5) and loved life. Guinness will always have a special place in my heart. BTW, they do not drink it at room temperature there, it's about 50 degress or so and is called cellar temperature. They also have Extra Cold on tap for knuckle heads like me.

I like all sorts of beers icluding Sam Adams, and exotic imports. We have a nice store close by that has about 300 different imports and micro-brewery beers. Many are in single bottles which is the only way to go when you are experimenting IMO. Some of the stuff crwls out of the bottle and smacks you I swear.

Most drank beers? Bud Light and Miller Lite. So drinkable..too drinkable actually.

Favorite beer? Well, variety is the key so 1. you never get tired of a brand and 2. you get to taste everything out there. European beers are pretty cool but I prefer American beer (Budweiser, Miller, Coors).

My favorite?: Miller Lite + Miller Genuine Draft. Maybe because my dad drank it and my dad's dad drank it...

In my little beer fridge:

Heineken (+ light)
Michelob
Bass Ale
Newcastle Brown Ale
Alaskan Amber
Fosters
Miller Lite
Miller Genuine Draft
Miller High Life

Recently went to Beverages & More and picked up some
Kronenbourg 1664 (French beer) - Not bad stuff.
Steinlager (New Zealand Beer) - Tastes a lot like Carlsburg/Tuborg (Danish beer).

For the record - I drink for taste and rarely have more than one beer a day (usually with food). Never had more than 2 beers in a sitting and don't plan to have more. Several of my friends will stop by for a beer (usually Miller) now and then.

Was at Costco and bought a case of Sam Adam's Summer Selection for the poker party I was hosting. Nice stuff in there. I like the "light", the Pale Ale, and a big surprise, the Cherry Wheat. Summer Ale has a nice hoppiness to it since I like the top-fermenting varieties. Other case I bought is my new staple "cheap" everyday beer, Yuengling. $14 for the case and it absolutely kicks my previous drink (Coor's light) to the curb. Glad my town recycles
