Favorite 15w-40? I like Kendall. What are the other options people, use. These are the choices I have and would like to know what most people like out of these options.

I voted twice...cool!
Delvac & Rotella - Although Ive been buying the Delvac Extreme w/rebates the Rotella 15w-40 may be a slightly better base oil ratio. Convenience on availability is something good to have. If you would've had the new SuperTech 15w-40 Full Synthetic I'd also vote for it.

Kind of odd here, my favorite 15W-40 is from Amsoil from looking at the specks of this oil. I have never used a 15W-40 oil, but this Forum lets members talk about a 15W-40 motor oil when they have not used it.

My go to in the past has been 5w40 Napa, but I think I am going to try Rural king in some kubotas and Amsoil in my truck.

Since I have a pail of it and the VOA is good, this is my new fav.

Sinopec T700

Liking the Rotella mostly just for the price and availability. Wal Mart / Tractor supply etc.has even found its way into my Harleys a couple times with no problems whatsoever. All oils mentionEd are fine.

Whatever meets the required specifications that’s on sale at the time I’m buying it. I have ran Delo, Rotella, and Mobil products before moving to group III hydrocracked synthetics and never noticed a mechanical difference in my Cummins or John Deere. Only found that Rotella smelled funky compared to the others.

Other than Rotella T4, my runner up would be Motorcraft Diesel 15w40.
IIRC, it's one of the best (for the price).

- DELO and AMALIE seem to fly under the radar, but both are great sleeper oils.
- Rotella is average, but praised above average for some reason.
- DELVAC is my favorite and what I run now in every car.
- SuperTech (cheapest option) is another great sleeper oil, especially with the recent addition of budget priced Full Synthetic 15W-40.

Schaeffer's 15w-40 700 & Royal Purple Dura-Lec ultra. some friends of mine are diesel mechanics and really like Royal supreme Ultra Max HD,,its manufactured by Royal Oil company.

To simplify my choice, I look for manufacturers’ approval and licensing from API, ACEA, JASO and others.
Lubricants are blended to a performance requirement not a price point.
According to Mary Poppins, you can’t tell a book by its cover.
