The Girls took me to the flight museum in Seattle. Curiously, I had never been there. It was very cool. I never touched a MIG before (3 MIG's 15,17 and 21) never sat in a SR-71 cockpit before. The WWII room is fairly stunning. Very cool planes and engines. Even some of the engine sophistication from the 1930's was mind boggling and boy did it ever turn up a notch or four in the 1940's. I get so rocketed out from work, seeing planes was just cool.
They have a perfect repro Wright bros plane, I was stunned to find out that thing was over 700 #'s loaded. Even stuff like an Italian Messerschmidt was pretty neato as was the Japanese Oscar. Naturally the Spitfire and Mustang are stunning. Got to go in Air Force 1 707 and the Concorde.

Awsome day with my matched set (boy 2 and girl 8) and my amazing wife.....Local Zoo, Local legedary watering hole for clams and finishing up on the deck with libations (Magic hat) and a wonderful Vegas 5. Thanks to all the dads!!!
