Fatburger. Done.

I was told this when visiting in the Soviet Union when they operated there.

I don't think the Soviet Union lasted terribly long after the introduction of McDonald's. And I'm looking up their history where they had to import a lot of ingredients, including potatoes. Their local potato varieties were waxy and not really all that suitable for frying. I think eventually in Russia they were able to grow suitable potatoes. But of course that's all gone now.

Yes of course all gone. So they imported what ever it was to grow suitable potatoes.

McDonalds sold their restaurants to "Tasty - Period!" locally owned group. The menu was heavily influenced with McDonalds items but their food now can go bad like normal food. They no longer have burgers or fries that last decades unspoiled.

Great post, spot on

In 2002 I was departing Ft Bragg for Afghanistan in the afternoon. In the morning, I was sitting in my Olds Bravada eating a egg McMuffin. I received a call the flight was departing immediately. I jumped out of the Bravada, with just a bite out of the egg McMuffin left in the interior of the Bravada.

many months later when I returned to Ft Bragg from Afghanistan, I had forgot I left a open egg McMuffin in the Bravada. Ft. Bragg is a very humid place. Low and behold, the Egg McMuffin looked like I just purchased it. Not a sign of mold, not a sign of age, looked like it was just unwrapped after sitting in the I interior of a humid and hot vehicle for over six months.

So that is good to know....... If I leave one sitting at room temp it should be good for the day:giggle:

I worked near a casino north of where I live. Some of the guys from the shop would go to a Fat Burger that was in the Casino. They seemed pricy......But then again not really when compared with any fast food now. In the last 4 or 5 years it seems as if prices jumped..... like double at fast food places

I bet no flys would touch it, or no magnets because the flys were so repulsed.

I'm shocked that Fuddrucker's still has a few locations left. Closest one to me at this point is Branson, MO.

Used to be locations in Chicago, St. Louis, Terre Haute IN, Knoxville... all gone.
I don't know if Colorado has any left either. Runza pulled out a year ago. They were one of the few burger places that offered pepper jack cheese as an alternative to American cheese.
