Just purchased a 2015 GMC Terrain Denali for my better half, has the 3.6 V6, what are they using for the FF oil ? Synthetic blend or full Synthetic

I think the Denali version gets the full synthetic.

The factory fill will be a Dexos certified oil for sure. The brand? That could be any number of suppliers. FYI, just because a car has a Mobil1, Pennzoil, Shell Helix, etc. embossed oil cap on the engine does not mean that is what is in the sump when it rolls off the line.
