Interesting one here, I have no idea what oil the dealer installed in this thing but I don't believe it was 15w-40 HDEO. Super low hours (27h) but oil was in the unit since it was purchased in Oct 2021 so I wanted to flush that out, get a baseline, and develop our moving forward strategy. Now that I'm taking over maint for this unit, we have a plan to run monthly and will get heavier usage this fall while shredding a 50 acre klein field.

Any idea what factory fill they used here? Rotella T4 15w-40 was what went back in. Below are the results from the first sample sent to OAI.

Lab comments:
Maintenance indicated at time of submission, no further maintenance action is required at this time. However, Viscosity is SIGNIFICANTLY LOW. Causes include contamination, incorrectly identified viscosity grade, or adding a different viscosity grade to the component. Increased component wear possible. Lubricant and filter change acknowledged.

Man that thing has been sitting! First oil change on my tractor was at 5yrs/125hrs but I didn't do a UOA. I've been running 15w-40 delvac in mine. No comments otherwise but good on you for changing it. Can always spot a kubota that hasn't been serviced by the grey filters still being installed..

Calcium and Moly seem too high IMO for a break-in oil. But on the flip side I would have thought ZDDP would have been higher even for a 10w-30 HDEO. Regardless I'm glad that stuff is out of there.

Yeah, that P and Zn is low. Can you ask them to rerun it?
