Filter off 24’ GMC Terrain with 2.0 engine. Factory fill and this on for 5,978 miles. OLM was at 7%

Out/off: this filter and factory fill

In/on: Safety Kleen 0w20 and PROTEC 10290 made in Mexico

As a side note; I did a YUKON last night and the factory filter has same baseplate. GM must have went to different supplier

These ecore versions with the metal end caps always seem to look good to me. Now some the Fram filters (ph4967 for example) have converted to this type. The pleats look good.

I don't think they went with more holes. They just removed the extra top plate.

Hole design is different. Left one has larger holes, even if there's the same number or not.
