F350 or Ram

With Ram using the HD ZF8 behind the Cummins now those trucks ought to be a step up than the older models. Down on power to the Ford offering.

But

They're all expensive junk. Pick the one you like most, get a factory backed extended warranty and work the truck hard till it dies.

The Ram powertrain is basically all new for 2025. New version of the Cummins, new transmissions, new exhaust systems both gas and diesel. Gas engine is carryover for the most part I believe. Chassis and cab is carryover, the cab interior has just been updated. The Ford will be mostly unchanged since it was just refreshed for the 2023 model year.

Seriously I'm a F350 guy....
I had 4 new ones in 13 years and love the Diesel but went back to gas for the value it gives. I don't care for the FX4 option and dumped it but I was a lot buyer and not special order buyer..

This is pretty close but with an extended cab. Until our government rolls back diesel emissions I wouldn’t consider one today.

Things aren't what they used to be. I probably would go with the Ford mainly because it's been out for a bit. The RAM is heavily updated, and The 1500 model seems to be having some electrical issues with its new architecture.

Pick the one you like best, and that you find the most comfortable. They all have their problems, as you’re probably aware. I personally like the Ram interior/seats, and the fact that the inline 6 is slightly easier to work on.

If you were going to buy a new 2025 F350, or Ram 3500, diesel 4x4, which would you choose?
No love for the GMC with the allison 10 speed transmission? Not sure if the current Fords have high pressure fuel pump failures but it was a big issue. When it let go it ruined the fuel lines and fuel injectors. I think a couple of members on here mentioned seeing it happen. I've read it's 10k to fix out of warranty.

The Ford is still using the CP4 fuel pump. I don't think it caused as much problems as it did in GM and Ram trucks but it would be a concern for me.

The GM puts down the least power on paper, but they intentionally concentrate on power under the curve instead of peak power numbers, so real world towing performance is pretty much on par with the other two trucks (probably not the HO from Ford).

If I had to purchase today, I'd probably lean in the GM direction but you'd have to check their seats as they are the least comfortable. They ride nice though with the IFS.
