would disagree, the article is a little dated. in the last couple years engines have bexome compatitively really reliable.
only honda is making really bad engines, lol.
every few races, tv commentators mention the modern reliabilty (usually in the context of honda unreliabilty).
I dont have stats but it seems like crashes and damage cause more retirements than engine failure now, esp. if you dont include honda
additionally the few engine related failures usually are muxh more conplex and more with complexities with electronics and electric turbo or battery, rather than an oil related full kablamos, which were more common say 10years ago.
