I think Hamilton is blaming "white people" or the police for the death of Brianna Taylor in a recent magazine article. While the police certainly played a part, it is my understanding that it was her druggie boyfriend (had a warrant out for his arrest) that fired the first shot and was thus the instigator of the tragic shooting.

It's a little much to hear about "social justice" in America from one of the worlds highest paid athletes when there is real social injustice in so many other places. While certainly not perfect, America is one of the most fair and just places on the planet.

Maybe Hamilton will bring more fans to Formula 1. Maybe he will alienate a lot of fans.

Hamilton has a lot of money and influence, but without trying to be too political, he's not going to put his money where his mouth is and do whatever he could to help out those causes in my opinion. He lives in Monaco, so he can avoid taxes. Let's ask him to move to Compton and give it all up.
