“Infrastructure” has become too many things - roads & bridges is a large enough expense to just call it that - and keep the pork for breakfast time …
To me, the only real infrastructure that should be dealt with by DC is interstates and military, and oversight but not direct management of the power grid and pipelines. States should be dealing with power, water, sewage, and intrastate roads.

The closer to home and fewer layers of bureaucracy that is managed, the better.

Folks climate change is a polarized political topic and specifically warned against.

Bloviating about ones concerns on an oil forum, sure beats actually doing something about those concerns.
