Extreme ape-hangers?

Is it just me, or are these a little too over the top? This riding style looks like a medieval torture device (the rack?)

u wont ride the dragon road in the
Carolinas like that, u cant make the turns, wonder how he escaped the troopers on a safety issue, u cant make quickturns like that.
 
lol, Well it does keep ur armpits aired out and may cut down on ur expenses of underarm deoderant usage. Maybe in the long run its a good idea or ur pits fill up with bugs,,,lol

I'd like to see what happens if someone pulls out in front of him.There is a cornering clearance issue with apehangers too - I once hit a girl standing on a street corner,as I went around the corner the bars (and my hands)went right over the curb and over the footpath.
 
If it is real, it's illegal. I think most states limit the height to around 15-18".

So, are you saying that all those LOUD straight pipes on many bikes are legal? Like, when did "legal" ever affect what some people do?

I have loud pipes. I don't care if they are legal or not and I don't care about how high somebody's Apes are/ I was just making a comment, man - ease up.
