Everstart battery size chart?

I'm looking for a chart that lists all the Everstart automobile batteries and their sizes. I'd like to be able to quickly go through the list and locate batteries of a certain height.

Specifically, I'm looking for a battery that will fit a VW Vanagon, which normally takes a type 41 battery.

too many weird battery sizes

You will get a much better deal on a Battery at Costco if you're a member and you have a close store. They are in the tire shop.

Aren't the battery sizes standard for a group size. So you need to look at the sizes of the various battery groups and then see if Walmart has that battery group in an Everstart.

Around here the Walmart batteries are East Penn. So unless Costco is also East Penn, I would stick with a Walmart. But other areas of the country are probably different.

Costco has car batteries cheaper than $49 Walmart batteries?

Maybe Google "Vanagon battery substitute" or ask in a Vanagon forum?

If there's a Rural King in your area check there. They have batteries in the $50 - $60 price range in more sizes than the Walmart value ones.

Should be pretty easy to go measure some batteries with a tape measure and compare to your current battery, if you dont want to buy the Group 41 battery for some reason.

Yes, battery sizes are standardized. Find a battery group size chart and the manufacturer doesn't matter.

BCI chart will let you know which ones can work...

My car can fit a group 24f, group 35, or even a small group 26r.... Though only a group 35 is specd for it per what other part store places say...

recently purchased Everstart Maxx 124-R from Wal-Mart with 5 years warranty (3 full years + 2 years pro-rated).
Previous battery (exact same model/size but for a different car) was from Costco with 42 months warranty but Costco has now dropped the warranty from 42 to only 36 months and the price at Wal-Mart was the same ($93.00 vs. $95 at costco). So I went with the longer warranty! Wal-Mart is also pretty good as far as warranty returns.

Battery size look-up charts by vehicle model and year aren't necessarily accurate.

My Mazda used a Group 24F, and later years of the same generation also did. Yet, every book I ever looked in specified a 24C (aka 24), for many years, from way back when the car was new until it was too old to be listed. Stupid that clearly wrong info is perpetuated and never corrected.

Walmart only has about seven sizes in the $49 line, not including group 41. They do have a ridiculously small one, though.

I think it's the 26R. Shim it with wood or whatever.
