I'm about to buy a Full Oil Filter Kit Cartridge kit from Drivewire.com for my IS 250 for $6.84 along with some items.
Anybody know anything about this brand FULL?

They seem to be made for import brand vehicles.

I bought a cabin filter and air filter from Drivewire.
So I figured I'd get an oil filter too.
The oil filter isn't cheap and Drivewire is a decent parts site of which I've ordered through a few times.
I only go 5K miles a year on the IS250 so the oil filter should be ok.
I only bought one.
I was just curious if anyone had any info on the oil filter.

Most oil filters are made by several MFGers.
Now, what you need to do is compare some of the 'common sizes' to see which brand is being 'relabled'.

I have heard from several Mercedes specialists that FULL brand filters are "complete junk". They are made in China. Have also been told and experienced in European cars that Bosch are just as bad because you don't know where they are made.

I can't vouch for the European manufacturer of Bosch filters, but Bosch filters here are now made by Purolator. The black canister Premium seems to be very close to Pure One in construction & materials. At $3 on sale, it's excellent option...

These were made in Thailand.
Maybe I'll just go with a Toyota filter.
