Etched pine tree sap

So I was able to remove the sap with some degreaser, however, it has been etched in. I have tried using a DA to polish it but it does not work. Any suggestions?

A new layer of wax needed to be reapplied in order to restore the original finish.

I don't think you can remove the actual etching...you can make it look less bad but I believe you might need a paint correction to rid yourself of those marks once they're etched into your paint...
