Engine RPM tachometer

Good afternoon,

I am looking for a small engine tachometer that either clips to or wraps around the spark plug wire to measure engine RPM.

just got one from Amazon that didn't work. Any suggestions from what you folks use?

I have an ap on my phone that does an FFT on the sound the engine makes and spits out an RPM. All you input is 2/4 stroke and # of cylinders...works really good!!!
It is literally called "Engine RPM"
