Today I went to Epicenter’s flagship store in Kyiv, Ukraine. I looked it up, and interestingly it’s the largest single-location DIY in the word, about 5 times larger in size than the biggest Home Depot store in USA.
— Epicenter K’s Kyiv “flagship” at 20 Polyarna St. spans 105 000 m² (1 130 000 ft²), and in 2014 was officially listed by the Ukrainian Book of Records as “The World’s Largest Trading Center of DIY format” .
— By contrast, a typical Home Depot in the U.S. runs about 105 000 ft² (9 755 m²) , and even the chain’s largest single site (Vauxhall, NJ) is only 217 000 ft² (20 200 m²)
