I went camping last weekend and ended up sleeping in my truck. The engine idled all night. There also was Iso Heat in the gasoline.

Would the extended idling cause significant oil dilution?

I changed the oil (with 1500 miles on it) just to be safe (and ahhh well, because I'm a BITOGer).

That's a good way to get on the 6:00 news.

Extended idling could cause oil dilution by gasoline getting blown into the crankcase during the compression cycle. But, as soon as you drive it off, the gasoline will burn off or flash off.
