Engine flush

I thought the decision made, no flush switching from conventional oil to synthetic. Mobil said it wasn't necessary. But now realize the conventional oil is 5w30 and I'm switching to Mobil 1 10w30.
Is it still safe not to flush or will mixing viscosities cause problems?

You will not have anyproblems... sometimes I actually mix different viscosities and run it for thousands of miles
