Employment quiz- would you have gotten this sample question correct?

I haven't read all replies but what if the approval was given that day, but Ms. Oliver has already started work at her normal time?

This is a stupid question, this is why the world is going to you know what in a hand basket, employment and aptitude tests seek out har-har questions like this instead of a fella who can produce results.

Any rate, my mind goes to:

- what is the employment contract, is this employee an exempt or non-exempt employee and is there a potential for overtime work, if so then how could an 8:00am start time be incorrect given a day when overtime is needed
- some clarity as to at what point the "Ms. Olivers workday begins at 8:00am" is in referendum to. Given the limited content, it could be argued that the aforementioned statement is simply defining/mentioning the "current state" and not a (yes/no) the change (has/hasn't) been approved
- the definition of "work hours" and "workday". It could be argued that a workday includes supplementary tasks that of which will aid in the successful completion of ones employment duties and tasks. These two definitions are used interchangeably and not clearly defined.

Servant Leadership will choose C.

The "correct" answer depends on what the organizational culture is.

Please. Who sez they even work at the same company? "Ms. Oliver" is just a little smoke...

Regardless, I would say true because the scenario starts with "If".
