"Jones said he was not surprised at the number of Wayne Farms employees who tested positive.

"The majority of the folks that we're dealing with in this situation are foreign born," Jones said. "I would expect about 30 percent of them to test positive."

Both employees with active TB disease are Hispanics born in countries with a high incidence of TB, health officials said.

Not a bad article considering.

I live a few miles from the plant. It is right next door to a BASF industrial coatings plant that I have visited several times before. There are many chicken plants in that area with other companies as well. It's the same story at all that I'm aware of. Many trailer parks are setup around the plants to house the folks, many per trailer.

But hey, we have cheap (tasteless) chicken & that's all that matters, right!

Oh yeah, again thanks for the link Pabs.

He left that part out of the Revised Version below the version in the green box, where it says"...Greece fell."

He also fails to mention that many historians believe Greece's diverse city-states had a military and culural advantage exactly because they were constantly fighting among themselves, thus honing their skills and technology.
Another thing he left out was that the Persian Empire and it's armies were made up of many diverse peoples, in fact, Persia was noted for tolerance among it's subject peoples.
A better example for him to use, though it has been overused already, would have been the later stages of the Roman Empire, although pinning it's fall entirely--or even mostly--upon it's diversity would be ignoring several other important factors.
Still, as I noted, the man makes some decent points.
