Electrical Situation

Other day I noticed one side of my electrical service was getting only 109 volts on one leg and 119 volt on the other. Called the electric company and they came out. Found a blown fuse on the transformer on their pole. So it seems that our draw on that leg was getting what it could from the two adjacent transformers, which are several houses away on either side. Interesting anyway, so I thought I would share it.

During one of the hurricanes about 3 years ago my rental property lost one of the 120V legs. Buried service, so it was totally coincidental. It took the electric company a week to get out there to fix the problem. They just fixed it and I never did find out what happened.
