hey guys,

I am not familair with electric wax and polish application. I do everything by hand and get great results (don't see how it could be any better). I have a hard time making time to wax anymore (work and school) so I wondering if there was any benefit or improvement to a electrical buffer?

Also I don't know the difference between just a polisher, an orbital buffer, random oritbal, etc?

I've heard you can really screw up a paint job with one of these.

The only thing I have been using on my Red Jeep is Zymol Cleaner-Wax. I know it isn't the best but it smells so good and goes on and off so easy. It also leaves an unbelievable shine. I think it works good for what I do. I use 3M products on my Jetski (Finesse-It II and Ultra marine performance wax). I won't use a electrical on it though...

I would be open to switching products and using a electrical tool if I could get the same results or better and save time.

thanks for any information,
Seth

I could spend hours and barely scratch the surface of all the topics you mentioned. Please spend a little free time at www.autopia.com.
The auto detailers web site. More info there than you can absorb in an evening. You'll find answers to all your detailing questions there and more. Don't forget to use your search eng to narrow your searches. Home page left side, you'll want to review all the local acronyms, it'll help decipher some of lingo. Enjoy, let us know how you decide dude!
