I ran into another guy while mowing and we had a suckfest (lol) on how efficient these EFI mowers are now
and how much less gas we now use. I don't see the need for diesels anymore and sold the few I had with the exception of a multi purpose compact tractor. Anybody else?

Yep, I've got a zero turn with a Kohler Confidant EFI engine. The only worry I have is whether the electronics prove to be reliable or not. Last I looked, the Kohler diagnostic kit was a few hundred $$.

I really wanted an EFI tractor when I got my latest mower. But the "residential" options were limited so I went with another carb model. Using less fuel would be nice

That is all I use and no issues but I do use Star Tron as recommended by the maker
I use very little of it but have had no issues,

You're right. You have to buy a bigger mower than you need to get the EFI
I guess we are not there yet- too bad. But once you go EFI especially if you mow big parcels it really
is a huge saving.

Just need a market that will pay for it.

EFI is down to some pretty small motorcycle engines already.

What you gotta do is keep a sharp eye on CraigsList for a Mitsubishi Zero. Non-EFI and turns pretty well, or so I've heard. is that a joke son?

I think WW2 vets from the pacific theater might disagree with that.
