Saw this price drop on Amazon.
Ecogard X4610 oil filter. I use these on my 2011 Hondas and is one of the Premium Guard sub-brands. I received some back in March and were made in China. These are taller than the shorter Honda PG4612 filters. $2.48 is a decent price for a well made filter. Subscribe and Save discount available. Currently shipped and sold by Amazon.com.

Funny timing. I was just looking for filters for a Kubota diesel and this post reminded me I had bought the 12pk last year or so when it was crazy cheap. Right thread, but a smidge smaller diameter. Curious to see if this will fit still!

4610 & 12 have same threads and gasket diameter. the 10's are a tad taller.

It's almost dizzying because you can also do the 7317, 2867, 2876, 4460 (fatter) and more (4612 as mentioned)

But I ordered a few, thanks OP!

these good for a 10k oci?
I do not think Ecogard rates them past 5K miles. Also, most Ecogard standard oil filters I have seen cut open, the nitrile ADBV is usually pretty stiff by 5K miles also.

It is a basic jobber oil filter. 10K is asking a bit much for it IMHO.

Ordered/awaiting qty 5 of these for the Odyssey. I’ve got a couple OG XG7317 still, but these ECOGard will keep the Odyssey happy in its later years. Thanks for bringing up this great price on a good filter.

Edit: just received them. Look great. Feel like they are built like a tank. Nice “freshness seal” on the end. Dec ‘23 build date. Feel good about this purchase. Will use and C&P in the future.

I used a few of these on the Odyssey and all had flexible ADBVs after 5k. I also ran a few on the Toyota and those were still very flexible after 5k.

Maybe some engines (e.g., hotter running or turbo) would cause them to stiffen in 5k?

I ran an EcoGard in my Mazda 3 last oil change. Went about 5K. I noted in the oil filter thread I posted of it that the ADBV was stiff. I don't think my Mazda's are hard on oil at all. So, not sure. I don't run them more than 5K. Of course, I don't run anything more than 5K, so YMMV.

These okay? Got a couple yellow tagged at $3.
I’m at 50% OLM - plan to swap a quart to HPL Engine Cleaner 30.
Likely just 4k needed on the filter.
