Ecogard HE cabin filter

^ Sometimes it is a good idea to replace them that often. "IF" you need an air filter at all, you might have sensitivities to things like mold that can start growing in them. Running your vent fan after you turn the A/C off can help purge the system of much of the moisture that contributes to that. It's sort of a shame that vehicles aren't smart enough to do that by themselves... but then it'd break and I'd be grumbling about fixing it.

Bosch HEPA iirc is 12,000 miles, and they do mean it, as it will get plugged up that quick to give you no airflow, and it starts you off which not much to start to begin with.

Installed it today... after putting about 10,000 miles on the MicronAir Blue.

There is an initially chemical smell like the Bosch HEPA, that isn't as strong and quickly dissipates.
