i run echo 50:1 mix and it works good. but after reading here i tryed Mobil's MX2T and it the best.i would like to run 40:1 with
mx2t becouse i run this trimer hard.would this be a problem?

I find that Mobil 1 Racing 2T runs as clean at 40:1 as Husqvarna XP at 50:1. My trimmer, blower and chainsaw all run crisply and turn out tan colored spark plug electrodes. I don't see 40:1 as an experiment during warranty. I see 60 or 80:1 as an experiment.

I run MX2T 50:1 in all of my 2 cycle equipment. My trimmers see at least 10 hours of use a week. I also have Echo PB-650's and 651's that are run 8 hours a day in the fall with 2t at 50:1 also. No engine failures or carb problems yet.

I do the same in all my 2 cycle equipment.

MX2T is a great oil.

thanks guys.i think 40:1 will be the answer.how about amsoil? i hear some talk about 80:1 and so on. not to sure about that...........

l and l,

Stick with the MX2T; it is a superior product. I run it in my Echo trimmer and have no smoke. I am not convinced the Amsoil 2 cycle products are any better than the MX2T. From what I have read, the MX2T burns cleaner than the Amsoil 2 cycle products.

You can run the Echo as far as 32:1 if you want with the MX2T. I think the 40:1 is a good compromise between the recommended 50:1 and 32:1.
