It was given to me last night by a family member. "It's been sitting in my shed for a cpl years.. I've got an electric blower now and don't want this one". It was filthy and had a 1/4 tank of nasty looking premix. I dumped the fuel, flushed out the tank with carb cleaner. The airfilter looked good, carb throat looked clean, I wiped down everything. The primer bulb was still nice and squishy, fuel lines good. Fueled it up, primed it and it was purring after 2 pulls! Man what a nice running blower this is! I've been using a cheapy Homelite for years (10+) that I had purchased thru Harbor Freight as a refurb. The Homelite still works like a champ, but I think I gotta new favorite blower. This is my first Echo product. Love it.

Good for you. Don't let the shabby appearance put you off. You've got a good machine there. Inspect the cooling fins and give the carb linkage a blast of WD-40. It will give you many years of solid service.

I've got an Echo ES210 Shred 'N Vac. Great machine. It had plastic caps on the carb adjustment screws that I removed to get a bit more power out of the blower. I was amazed how much of a difference it made. Prior to the adjustment, I could comfortably operate the blower with one hand at about any angle. After tweaking the carb, the blower almost came out of my hand at full throttle. It was a very noticeable difference.

Echo make great products for reasonable prices.

I removed the post that contained racist comments and bashing another member. That member has been given some time off from the board.
