I picked up 4 of these 3pks & can say they work well. At about $10/ea, it’s a pretty sizable discount from this filters standard $16-25/ea sales price online or at Fleet Pride or Cummins.

If you have a need for a replacement filter for the Motorcraft FL-820s & want a synthetic media substitute this is my current go-to instead of Fram. I’ll be posting a cut/paste of one off my 6.2 Ford in another 1.5-2k miles.

These are not mine btw, & I’m in no way affiliated with the seller. Just took a chance on a 3pk & went back for more when they worked out.

Not bad!! Fleetguard is a GOOD filter and 90% of my fleet runs the FL820's!! I would have scooped up this deal. BUTTT last week I scored a 12pk of Premium guard filters with red Silicon ADBV for $22 out the door from my wholesaler lol

Great deal there. I was looking for a different 820 replacement instead of the champ labs made filters out there. Donaldson didn’t have any synthetic media option but these fit what I was looking for at a decent discount. Just figured I’d share it

With that price I suspect they are fake. Can you see the white media through the center? I am down to two wire backed XG2s in my stash.

If they’re fake they sure went to a lot of trouble.

Keep an eye on WM.com for a LONGGG time they had Motorcraft 820s for only $3.99 and those have the silocone ADBV

Price is $8.44 now but might come down again

I did give the one I put on my truck the "blow back" test & it sealed up really well, better than several silicon ADBV's that are still in my stash but those are all Champ Labs Amsoil & Fram Endurance units. For a 5k mile filter change I'm not worried about it as long as it doesn't start leaking by too quickly. The Motorcraft filters have been having a bit more media issues as of the last couple years so I was actively looking for a replacement. Think I have 2 older MC filters still laying around. An 820 & an FL1A (that'll be going on as my transmission spin on when the remote Canton base shows up next week).
