we have at work a 2002 international 4900 with a dt466e and fuller 5 speed. it is set up as a roll off truck. anyone know what transmission and rear end fluid should this take and what capacities? i dont have an owners manual for the truck. im guessing the transmission will take 50w and the rear end 75w-140, both synthetic, but i thought id ask. thanks in advance guys.

Looks like the bottom of the two service manuals there are the 5 speed models. You have a good selection of oil. Eaton synth 50W for any temp, Engine oil meeting MIL-L-2104D, API CD, or Cat TO-4 50W or 40W above 10*F, same but 30W below 10*F. Also can use gear oil meeting API MT-1 80W90 above 10*F or 75W below 10*F. Do not mix gear oil and engine oil. Also the eaton synth 50W is the only oil for 250,000 mile changes, the engine and gear oils require 50,000 mile changes.

I cant tell you capacity because I dont have a model number, but of the 5-speeds you are looking at 9.5-19 pints. I have no clue what kind of axle you have, or even what brand. :P

thanks for the quick reply. tomorrow ill get the model #'s off the axle and transmission, and ill look for the service manuals
