Groceries are getting crazy high!! All our fave restaurants have stayed about the same price. After buying all the necessary ingredients to cook a high quality meal, price-wise it makes me wonder if you're better off getting carry out, especially if it's just *us*.

Lots of variables. Breakfast lunch and dinner? Personally couldn't imagine getting dressed just to eat breakfast unless on vacation. 7 days a week? Again, unless on vacation, that's going to get expensive. Just yourself or a family. Again, cost factor.

For us, dinner. She never eats breakfast or lunch, maybe just a snack, and I usually only eat an egg, coffee, and glass of milk for breakfast. I'm not a big lunch eater either. Just usually something small.

We were at a Mexican restaurant tonight and it had a note taped to all the menus saying anything on the menu that is food will automatically be price increased by 5% due to shortages and other stuff. Heck the prices at stores don’t help. It’s probably about the same either way.

Can't be that expensive if you're essentially eating OMAD, unless it's steak and shrimp.

2nd here!! I cant cook and don't particularly enjoy it either.

Yet you go to the gym? 🤣 Seriously, that's a red flag your probably not getting the nutrition you need either. Again, take some effort and learn to cook, you'll be better off without all the additives restaurants add to the food.

With all the modern conveniences we have today, cooking is easy. No excuse man!

Way way cheaper man. . To cook at home.

I can buy 2 large porterhouse steaks for $18 on a very good sale at Harris Teeter and make other side items for another $12.... $30- $35 dollars.

At a decent restaurant that would be $60- and a $120 at a high end steak restaurant not counting a tip.

Chicken is even well cheaper than that.

Pasta meals.... Even if I get the $8.99 really good bottle of Michael's of Brooklyn Puttanesca sauce and the high end pasta it is well cheaper than at a very good Italian restaurant.
