I recently heard about this polymer polish/wax on Saabnet, where a guy named Bret suggested that this wax was comparable to the Mothers Reflections or the Meguiars NXT. I was curious so I bought some and tried it out last night. It applied very similarly to the Meguiars NXT and was just as easy to remove. I was impressed with the shine this morning after I parked at work - seems very similar to the Meguiars product. I don't know how durable it will be, but it looks like a pretty good product so far.

I posted last week about this Nanowax, so here is a follow up. I placed a second coat today, was very easy to apply then removed with the included microfiber towel. I can't really notice a huge difference on my white car between this and the NXT. I am told that the Nanowax is longer lasting, so I wanted to try it out. The Nanowax was $9.99 and came with a pump dispenser and the aforementioned microfiber. Also included was a rebate for $9.99 so essentially the stuff was free. I think this wax is very similar to the Meguiars product and may be a viable option.

I used the Nanowax on my white truck last week. It was the easiest wax to apply and remove that I've tried.

My paint looks deeper and wetter than with the Meguiars Gold Class I had been using, plus it was alot easier to use.

I'd really like to know how the Eagle One product compares. I recently used the NXT wax which was $14.00 and is the most I have ever paid for a wax/polish product. Although hesitant at first, I could not resist from all the good things I have read and heard about the stuff from all over the place. I used to only use 3M products. I have a black acura and I have used many waxes and polishes over the years and I was pretty suprised with Meguiar's new product. It did a wonderful job filling in the light scratches and gave a very nice shine with good reflectivity. Oh and it smelled real good too! Anyways, the Eagle One Nanowax has a high standard to meet in regards to the Meguiar's NXT. I must say that the NXT wax does not give the deepest shine that can be found using a good Carnuba based wax or can it be layered, but that tradeoff is worth the results I have been able to achieve on a 10 year old black car. Everyone I have heard has really like the stuff, but like the originator of this thread I too would like to know how the competition fares against it. At ~$9.00 it could be a good compromise.
If no one reply's to this then I will buy a bottle of Nanowax and will compare the two in the near future. I wax one portion of my car everytime I wash it which is roughly every two weeks. So it won't take long for me to have the need to go out and buy some more.

HondaRD:

I just waxed my truck for the 2nd time with Nanowax this morning.

The wax is awesome, my finish looks like a wet mirror

Looks like the Guru Reports guys are going to have to do another wax test. Seems their fav synthetic (Zaino) may have some new players in the park. I'm still going to stick with the Z unless the Nano or NXT shows comparable durability.

Greetings fellow Acura Driver - I have a white TSX. I am told that the NXT looks awesome on darker colors, but doesn't wear real well. I tried it on my white TSX, and I thought it looked pretty good. Dark cars are supposed to really look good with NXT. I tried the Eagle One because it was free and I heard it was longer lasting than the NXT. I have about three coats of Nanowax on my TSX and it looks very nice. To further complicate matters I have purchased a bottle of Mothers Hot Wheels wax to try in the near future. Am I dissatisfied with the Eagle One of the NXT - no. I want to see for myself which product is better for me on my car. On my white car, I couldn't tell much difference between the NXT and the Nanowax. I still have some Nanowax left and then I will move to the Hot Wheels . The Hot Wheels is a carnuba/synthetic blend and is supposed to offer "the best of both worlds". I guess we will see. My car is new so probably anything would look good on it. I hope this information is helpful.

I just picked up a bottle of the EagleOne Nanowax, heck why not giver er a try it's free after the rebate.
Gonna giver a coat next week. I'll toss out another opinion after.

i just picked some up. in general, it is easy to apply and remove. the shine and slickness are ok. maybe they will improve after a day or so, after it cures. the pump is easy to use and dispenses an appropriate amount. the smell is kind of sweet, bubble gummish.

on my silver car the nanowax reduced a lot of the fine scratches. the color looks slightly lighter in the sunlight, but the wax doesn't have quite the pop of some other products.

the results on my black motorcycle were much more impressive. the swirls and fine lines were reduced, if not eliminated. it looks a lot deeper on the black paint than on the silver.

i can't comment on the durability, as i just put it on.

otherwise, it seems like a decent otc product. throwing in the rebate, mf towell and the applicator it's a pretty good deal.

I recently saw a mini test on Roadfly about the Nanowax. The initial appearance scores were very good, but after two weeks there was very noticable drop off in performance, and the beading properties were significantly decreased. No QD products were used during the test, which was asically leaving a hood out exposed to the elements and washing it once a week. NXT and the new Turtle Wax product had very similar results.
This made me think, should I be waxing more often, or are the QD products helping me out, because my experience has been a lot different. I usually wash about once a week and use Wax as U Dry or a similar QD product after each wash. My car is garaged as well -this might make a big difference also.

my durability has been ok but not great. water beads two weeks after application, but the wax had definitely lost some of it's hard slickness. i've put it on a couple times since then and it doesn't seem to layer that well.

i do use meguiars quick detailing spray frequently. i also like the turtle wax express spray for weekly touch-ups after washing, but i'm all out of it right now. it always has made my wax last longer.

I tried the eagle one nanowax on my 2003 blue corvette, and I dont think its as good as or as easy to use as Zaino. I found that when taking off the eagle 1 it had to be wiped down twice as it left a residue in a spotty pattern on my car. After the second wipe down it was fine but didnt have quite the shine the zaino does.I got it for free but wont buy it again. For my money I like the Zaino for polish and the Zymol as a cleaner?wax.

nanowax works better if you don't follow the directions. i get the little spots as well unless i let it cure for a while.

regarding durability, mine loses its feel in a couple of weeks but the water still beads. i restore the feel with some quick detailing spray (either meguiars or turtle wax).

i doubt i buy it again, but it's not bad.

Well I finally got around to using this stuff. I'm glad it was free. I'll stick with Meguiars Gold Class.
